My Love Language… “A Mother’s Day Post”

Hannah wrote this poem for me and I thought I’d share it with all the Moms in the world for Mother’s Day! Can’t imagine my life without the grace my kids give me…daily…sometime in hefty doses!! Love you so much Princess Numero Uno! Whose name means Grace and who has the writing bug buzzing inside her! Who knows? Maybe she’ll have her own Blog before the year is over!

“I love you always” by Hannah Angeli Paulus
I love you when you spill the coffee
I love you when your dismissal note is sloppy
I love you when you’re sad
I love you when you’re glad
I love you when you’re missing “it” and you feel bad
I love you always
I love you when you wish me luck
I love you when you help me when I’m stuck
I love you when you teach me more
I love you when you help us score
I love you always
I love you when you beat daddy in basketball for all to see
I love you when you make us plays to help us improve in many ways
I love you when you knock us out even if it makes us shout
I love you when you drive past us when you do, it makes us blush
I love you always
I love you when you make my lunch
I love you when you make us brunch
I love you when you take us to school
I love you when you swim with us in the pool
I love you always
I loved it when you taught me to read
It helped me very much to succeed
I loved it when you taught me division
It helped when the collision of fractions came
I love you always
I love you when you call me Bubbles
I love you when you turn my happiness into doubles
I love you when you wear a gown
I love you when you turn my frown upside down
I love you always

**Can’t get much better than that for me! How ’bout you? What’s the coolest mother’s day poem/gift you ever received as a mom or gave to your mom?

  1. Just for the record, every time Raj beat me in basketball…it’s always been according to plan! 🙂
Great post Hannah Bubbles. Can’t wait to see where God takes you and mom in both of your writing careers. He has blessed both of you. The apple does not fall far from the tree!
